WELCOME TO THE PREMIER POP CULTURE TRIVIA LEAGUE!
Sure, you may have played in other Pub Quiz night's around town. You may even frequent your favorite pub every week. Or maybe you've never played a trivia night, but love the World Series of Pop Culture? We feel it's about time someone stepped up and brought the whole thing to the next level! We are pleased to announce the league that everyone has been waiting for.... Ph.D.'s NOT required!
With the addition of a 'league format' to the ever-popular Pub Quiz, teams answer questions to score points, not just for the night, but over a season of weekly events. After 12 weeks of pop culture fun, we take the top 4 teams in standings and play a final week of post-season fun, that will play host to the Championship, where we will declare the winning team the undisputed ALL-STAR POP CULTURE CHAMPIONS.
You won't find categories like "geography", or "Nobel Prize winners" or "Scientific Formulas of the 1860's" anywhere near our quiz! Instead, all categories will be drawn from 5 genres: Television, Movies, Music, Personalities, and ephemera. In addition, you also won't find a boring list of questions that make you feel like you're back in Miss Jenkins' 2nd grade classroom. Instead, we've designed a multimedia show that will feature audio, graphic, and video questions. We even have a "SUPER 6" bonus round every week that is the proving ground of pop culture trivia.
So whether you are the undisputed champions of your favorite watering hole, or you have always wanted to play pub quizzes but thought you'd never know enough of those random questions... come on down! All-Star Pop Culture is happening every Thursday night. It's $10 per team and you can play up to 6 players on your team.
